There's no lap timer, no traffic to crash into, and no objective — you simply pick a vehicle and drive, with the road, terrain, weather, and time of day all generating on the fly so no two stretches of highway look quite the same.

You can drive anywhere from a winding dirt track to a wide four-lane highway, through configurable seasons and lighting that range from a bright summer afternoon to a snowy night drive. If you'd rather just take in the scenery, the game offers automatic steering, automatic speed, or full autopilot, so you can sit back and watch the landscape scroll by without touching the controls at all.

How to play Slowroads?

There's no failure state to worry about, so use Slowroads as a low-pressure way to unwind rather than something to optimize — steer manually when you want to feel engaged, or switch on autodrive and just enjoy the view. Try different combinations of road style, season, and time of day from the settings menu, since the mood of a drive changes a lot between a sunny highway and a foggy backroad at night. If you find a landscape you like, the world generation is seeded, so you can revisit or share that exact stretch of road later.
