FNAF5 Sister Location

Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location is a point-and-click survival horror game where you complete maintenance work inside a secret facility while avoiding deadly animatronics. Unlike earlier FNAF games, Sister Location breaks the fixed-night formula by having you explore interconnected rooms through crawlspaces, complete assigned tasks, and use specialized equipment to stay alive. Each night focuses on different objectives, keeping the gameplay fresh across five shifts of increasing difficulty.

The core challenge involves balancing task completion with threat awareness. You navigate between rooms like the Primary Control Module, Funtime Auditorium, Circus Control, and Ballora Gallery, performing maintenance on the animatronics themselves. Each night assigns specific duties—shocking animatronics to keep them powered, using control pads, deploying flash beacons, or removing dangerous equipment. If you fail to complete objectives correctly, jumpscares trigger and the night ends. Success means finishing your assigned work before the night concludes, forcing you to move quickly while staying alert.

What makes Sister Location distinct is the tension between task completion and situational awareness. You have limited information about where animatronics are positioned, so careful use of camera systems helps you plan safe routes. When you spot an animatronic in your path, you must decide whether to backtrack, hide, or use tools defensively. This mix of puzzle-solving and resource management creates moments where a single wrong choice ends your night. The difficulty scales smoothly: early nights teach you the facility layout and tools, while later nights add complications like multiple animatronics moving simultaneously or tasks that demand exposed positions.

Sister Location rewards strategic planning and calm execution. Maintaining a routine—checking specific cameras, taking reliable paths, and using tools strategically—helps more than frantic reactions. Many experienced players spot patterns in animatronic movement and learn which routes are safest. The game includes optional Custom Night modes for players who finish the main campaign and want to customize difficulty.

How to Play

Start each night with your assigned task visible on screen. Use the camera system to scout ahead before moving. Navigate between rooms using crawlspace tunnels. When you reach a task room, complete it using the provided tools or equipment. If an animatronic is near, decide quickly: use a defensive tool, retreat, or wait for a clear opening. Finish your work before the night ends. Failing to complete objectives triggers a jumpscare.

Controls

Mouse: Click to look around, navigate menus, operate equipment, and interact with tools. Each room uses context-sensitive clicks for its specific tasks. On desktop, this point-and-click interface is the primary input method.
